SCUBA Review and Reactivate Programs in Rochester

Are you a certified Scuba Diver who has not been Scuba diving in a while?  Are you a bit rusty in your skills or lack the confidence to begin diving again?  Then our Scuba Review Programs are what you need.

Scuba Review & Reactivate

This program is designed to review and update the knowledge and skills of certified divers.   To qualify you should meet the following prerequisites:
  • Proof of minimum Certification as a Scuba Diver
  • Dive activity within the last 5 to 7 years
  • Dive inactivity for greater than 5 years may require two pool sessions
  • Inactivity longer than 7 years requires completion of Scuba Review e-Learning through Aquatic Center
  • Certified longer than 15 years ago with no logged dive activity should consider re-certification.  Call us to set up a consultation.
  • The completed PADI Reactivate Program will earn you a new Certification Card
 

Pool Refresher Only

Sometimes you just want to tune up your skills before getting back in the water, whether local, or heading out on an exotic vacation.  Our pool refresher is meant just for that purpose.

If you are comfortable with the academics of scuba diving, but want to review your water skills, this is for you.  You will have one of our PADI Professionals work with you to review gear set-up and handling, water entries, buoyancy techniques, mask clearing and removal skills, and any other area with which you feel uncomfortable.  

Most dive resorts require dive activity within the past year or two.  We will sign your log book after your session and you will be set when you arrive at your dive destination.

Equipment and Scheduling

Student will provide for the class:
  • Mask, Fins, and Snorkel
  • All Scuba Equipment (rental is available)
  • Bathing Suit and Towel for the pool
  • Signed Waiver 
  •  PADI Medical if required
How to Schedule your Session:
       All Refresher classes are scheduled by appointment.  We are available both during the day and evenings.  Just give us a call and we will get you signed up.
      If you want to do the e-Learning Class, we can set you up with the access code to get started at your convenience.
