Snorkeling and Scuba diving instruction in Rochester

We are a PADI 5 Star  Instructor Development Training Facility. You can begin with a snorkeling lesson and we can take you right up to becoming a qualified  PADI  Open Water Scuba instructor. 

 Snorkeling lessons

Whether you just want to have some fun in your backyard pool or see the underwater sights on the vacation of a lifetime, you will be amazed at how quick and easy it is to learn to snorkel with the help of our experienced staff. In a single pool session, you can learn the basic skills for snorkeling.

SCUBA Lessons

  • Try Scuba Diving - Never done it before? Give Scuba a try in our beautiful pool.  See how easy it is to breathe underwater.  Scheduled by appointment
  • Open Water Scuba Certification - Through a combination of classroom, pool training and open water dives you can easily earn a PADI Open Water Scuba Certification.  
  • Advanced Certifications - Continue your training through a vast selection of Continuing Education Programs.  We offer all levels, Advanced, Rescue, Enriched Air, Specialty Courses, as well as  Tec Diver.
  • Professional Training - Become a PADI Divemaster or Scuba Diving Instructor through the Aquatic Center of Rochester's Instructor Development Program.   These programs are often tailor made, so call us for details.

  • Bubblemaker - TRY SCUBA tailored for kids, ages 8 & 9.
  • PADI Seal Team - Diving Missions in our pool are tailor made for 9-10 year olds. Educational, challenging - but most of all fun! Sorry Mom and Dad, this one's only for the kids!
  • Scouting Programs - Scout Try Scuba Programs and the BSA Scuba Merit Badge are easily available.  We have  Merit Badge Counselors  on staff.

There are many of the PADI Certification courses that you can start on line today.   The classroom portion can be completed in the comfort of your home or office, at your convenience and pace.  We will then expand on the program with a brief in store class session, and then it is off to the pool or open water to complete your certification.
