This comprehensive program is composed of two courses in one: Emergency First Response-Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response-Secondary Care (First Aid). Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and first aid, as well as Automated External Defibrillator (AED), emergency oxygen and conscious choking management skills!
Emergency First Response is designed for anyone who wishes to acquire CPR and first aid training, from Open Water divers through Dive Master's and above. Even non-divers greatly benefit from this class. The Aquatic Center is proud to have Chuck Krueger, EMT-P, as our lead EFR Instructor. Chuck has many years of experience as a paramedic and ALS trainer, and has personally responded to emergencies of all kinds. His insight into emergency care has consistently made our program stand out above other courses in CPR and first aid!
